Work this one out. I used to get the standard mobility rate. Now my mobility is worse. And they have taken it away!

I hate the dwp.

Thank you for the information but I did go see the c,a,b today and they are helping me.I need that mobility back, otherwise I can't reapply for my disabled bus bus and rail card.

And all this is doing my anxiety no favours

Oh and it took them so long to post it, that I have gone over the deadline for appealing. But the c,a,b are going to state I'd only just received the letter

Or me , I’ve had a blue badge awarded for last two years due to extremely poor mobility issues and i get zero mobility for my PIP award . It is is too worrying to let them know so I know I miss out as blue badges are not issued lightly at all and that took courage to apply for too

Hi - I'm so sorry you haven't been awarded the mobility component you expected. If you're going for a Mandatory Reconsideration, then it's said you have to do so within one month of the date on your decision letter. However, you actually have 13 months in which to do so with a reason, which you have. If the DWP dispute this, then you can go straight to appealing to a tribunal.

Well the letter didn't get to me till the month was up. But we are stating this.

I have a few other health conditions as well as fibro, I managed to get standard rate care for a while but when my renewal was up in November 2021 my conditions had become much worse, it took from then to March this year for my reassessment. I was struggling so much with my mobility that ended up applying for a blue badge to my local authority which I then had an assessment with them and was awarded a blue badge. Came to doing my phone PIP assessment and they’ve said nothing has changed so I’ve asked for mandatory reconsideration. I can’t work out whether the person doing the assessment just lied or whether the person that actually read the report actually read properly. I think it’s probably a bit of both. It’s awful and degrading going through these assessments as it is without then having to fight for what you should actually be getting. Good luck.

I agree with you. And like you I have other health conditions. We have enough to deal with, and sorting out pip is something I could do without to be honest.

Agree 100% they missed stuff off mine just don't get it at all I was 2points off full allowance.

That is what has happened to me I got the top rate and have a car ,they gave me extra 12 months,now they have taken it away ,I'm worse than I ever was ,I had assessment over the phone so how they could see me walking over the phone baffles me,they have gave me the other one saying I can't do nothing on my own at home ,but I can walk and get a bus carry shopping,they are mad ,all this hassle of having to take it to the tribunal is not good for my anxiety and depression.fed up with it all.

Thank you,I have fibromyalgia and other things wrong with me but they don't care about any one ,I hope they get health problems and in pain all the time ,but get told it's lie's they will know how we feel x
