The pain in my joint's is doing my head in.

I have pain in my left ankle and my wrist also my hips hurt and the pain in my lower back and shoulder blades I keep telling my doctor but he just up's my medication it's like he isn't listening he gives me tablet's for nerve pain and amitriptyline for night time's but it isn't helping me with my joint pain I had an arthroscopie operation on my left knee and it has just made thing's worse and they said my right knee would have to have the same if it didn't work I would have to have plastic kneecaps there is no way I'm having an arthroscopie on my right knee when it has just made my left knee worse I just don't know what to do the pain is killing me.😭😭

I'm sorry that you're in so much pain, and that your GP doesn't seem to be doing anything to help.

Is there another GP within your practice that you could see?

You can also contact your Practice Manager and state that your GP is not taking you seriously about your pain, although I can understand you may not want to do this and it can cause friction between GP and patient.

If there isn't another GP that you can see I would suggest changing your doctor. You need a GP who is going to support you and try to help.

Sorry you are are in so much pain as M0AL61 says you might need to consider making an appointment with your GP regarding a medication review and/or asking for a pain clinic referral if needed. For now you may wish to try other methods to ease the pain like Epsom Salt baths, TENS machines and pain relief creams.
