Tapentadol - anyone been on this?

Hi everyone. My Gp took me off tramadol as I couldn't sleep on it and put me on tapentadol instead. My chemist had none in stock when i went for my repeat and had to wait 2 days for it which I got on Saturday. This weekend had been awful pain wise and energy wise. I waken to all my joints stiff and frozen and i have to crack them to get them moving which is so painful. I've been feeling nauseous and don't have much appetite. Not sure if these tablets are helping??

I was put on them by pain clinic .they made me very sick and stomach spasms.went back on tramadol .hope u feel better soon amy

maybe read the leaflet inside the pills and see if those side effects occur.

I get on very well with Tapentadol . I wonder if you came off Tramadol too quickly. That could be causing your symptoms of nausea and lack of appetite.

Ive been on a low dose of tramadol for a few years for neuropathic pain its the only things that works but the doctor is reluctant to up the dose now from 50mg a day to 100mg a day and im looking for something with the same effect but with less of a hassle to be orescribed?
