I have suffered with Fibromyalgia for many years now and was managing the pain.
However,this last 12+ months my body inside has the following symptons....Muscle tightness,feelings of being squashed,pulses running up and down and twisting inside me.Weird internal, sometimes pain-full sensations inside my body.Feelings of being nipped inside.My legs feel stiff and feel like they are going to snap.All these feelings and sensations create great anxiety,pain and stress and I become very distressed and agitated.
I am told by my doctor,pain management consultant, rheumatologist and nuerologist that it is my Fibromyalgia causing these sensations but I think it could be either serotonin syndrome or maybe my medication reacting with other meds.
I have and still am on numerous meds with dosages often altered to try to resolve my pain.
Does anyone suffer from similar sensations inside or any advise?

Well you need to get an answer one way or another-telling you maybe,s is really not good enough, the only thing I would agree with is interaction of drugs and your gp should help you there, but the muscle problems; although some will be fibro; we must never assume everything we suffer is fibro related and those consultants need a kick up the jacksy...
Have had to beg to get Diazepam short term to help me relax.Got 2mg x 7 tabs-not much impact there. Next time got 5mg x 14.They do help a little bit with the agitation.
maybe google serotonin syndrome avoid american web sights as they tend to show the worst case senarios and might scare you, but you might get some ideas from there.
However, it this situation a reluctance to prescribe Diazepam would most likely be due to risk of addiction as I believe it is used to help treat Serotonin Syndrome, see quote and link below;
Diazepam, a GABA-mimetic, has been studied the most and has been shown to blunt the hyperadrenergic symptoms of serotonin syndrome.2,9,10 Therefore, diazepam not only works to sedate the patient, but it can also correct mild hypertension and tachycardia and reduce fever
We have googled it and it is a possibility we think.Did mention it to the doc last week and she said it's possible.That was all she said apart from,mention it to your pain management consultant at end of this month.
Yes I think that's a good idea and any concerns/deterioration or increase in symptoms please make sure you seek medical advice asap ...just to err on the side of caution. Hope the link about it helps
They can also worsen agitation hence GP don't like em. Nice while they work if you handle the hangover but nasty when they bite back. The slide into nasty can happen just like that. One minute you think you are in control the next? Oopsie! All very bad. Fibros need to keep their thinking head on re meds. All have side effects which can come on at any time.
I suffer with tingling sensations on my legs and hands ... sometimes lasts a while sometimes not ....I also take a few meds and usually try to take them when I am on severe pain .. people say the pain must be bad when I don't take my tramadol but to be fair no I don't see a difference ..
As for what you say that you feel like your skin is nipping inside .. I get that . I feel like the top of my leg is jammed under the skin at the joint at the top. And I try and unlock it like you would do with a plastic doll .. you would manipulate the leg to get the nip out .. it doesn't help .... have Also had it with my arms ... at the shoulder joints ... as for my insides they are always having different symptoms and the worst will
Be under my rib cage I feel I am tucked up underneath the rib cage and it is sore ...
Sorry for babbling on I was trying to explain as best I can
Yeah I do struggle to understand what you mean ... all I can say and I feel this hard to explain . It like you are going through an outer body experience ... your body is moving and you can see but inside you you can't feel it . Like you are numb to your body ... I get that a lot xx
