I've taken part. it doesn't affect me personally but if someone has say a mental disability and is very anxious in attending appointments, going shopping etc the nearer they are able to park to the venue the better for them.x

It's a tricky one. Under the current regulations the number of blue badge spaces are totally inadequate so don't see how changing the regulations is going to help unless councils or private car parks provide more spaces. And my council are making it harder and harder to get one anyway even if you do have mobility problems
