My son had to transfer from dla to pip at age 3 because of cerebral palsy.

He turned 5 on Nov 2017

And still nothing even after two letters from local mp and proof of original claim.

Can anyone can suggest best way forward.

Thankyou in advance.

Children under 16 stay on DLA under special rules.

I don't understand why he had to change....can you tell me a bit more of his circumstances and who gave you this information?

Is he still receiving DLA?

like Bananas5 says - children under age 16 remain on DLA.

You are best to speak to someone at CAB, welfare rights officer at local authority or similar advice organisation as to what your next step should be. xxx

Hello, Butsaya2006 welcome to the group. Have you rang the DWP and asked why your son needs to change I'm guessing you must have? It seems by Reading the other replies this should not be happening so has our lovely admin Hazel suggested maybe you should try and have a word with someone at CAB.
