So tired of this ongoing content pain in my bladder and lower back. Have tried 3 different meds and nothing works. Any ideas. I can barely work, need the bathroom beside me. How long can this go on. Test show bladder in good shape. Got to be a nerve or something. I can’t take this anymore

I think the best thing is to get booked asap to see your doctor he/she will look at ways of finding the rite meds to ease your pain don't suffer the weekend is coming so best to ring today if you can and hope someone can take you in the car explain to surgery that you cannot sit for long periods whilst waiting for doctor hope you get some help and soon take care x

Thanks for the advice. Already seeing a urologist. Tried 3 different prescription from her. They did test and claim it is IC. Intersitis cystitis. (Can’t spell it or pronounce it). They say is no cure but people get relief. Nothing really helps mine. Looking something besides prescription pain meds.

Hi there Blabla4joy , So sorry you have that awful irritation. It seems to effect a lot of people with fibro.

Have you tried any natural remedies at all I know many ladies swear by cranberry Juice for an irritated bladder .

Here's a few more drinks that are kind to our bladder.

soy milk, which may be less irritating than cow's or goat's milk.

cranberry juice.

less acidic fruit juices, such as apple or pear.

barley water.

diluted squash.

caffeine-free teas like fruit teas.
