Pain

I hurt constantly no matter what drugs I take I hurt the pain never goes away. At work I have to pretend I am "ok" but inside I am in screaming in agony

Pain killers don't work for me either. I use other methods - I have a knee support, an elbow support, compression gloves for my hands, compression sleeves for my feet and every where else gets either a hot water bottle or a heat patch. Not all at once though thank fully. Have you tried any thing other than painkillers? May be worth investigating other options. I know quite a few people take a holistic approach - accupuncture and the like ...

I wish I had an answer, unfortunately all I can say is I know how you feel. I know it's not much but sending virtual evening hugs.

Hi Sher

I hope you don't mind me sending healing thoughts to you.

It is so awful to be in such pain all day and every day it is very debilitating... and can get us down .... I wish for you to feel some ease in your pain and get time to rest your mind and body and have some time to yourself to go to a happy place even if it is just time to play some music that makes you happy.

Have you spoken to them at work about your condtions... although saying that which I know is wrong.. most employers if they know should make consessions would find a reason to get rid of us and get in someone else. If you feel you can talk to your boss do so as they are suppose to help you now.. even if it is to give you a chair or quick breaks etc.

Take care of yourself dear Sher.

Healing thoughts for you. x

Hi Jacqui Ro I don't get much rest you see I have to keep going. It's when I stop the pain gets worse and worse. I am on cocktails of drugs so other things as well as Fib.

My company would sack me that's why I have to pretend I am ok plus I wouldn't want health to get in the way of my career. My health will beat me one day but not yet. I listen to music on my way home from work but that pain just niggles and niggles constantly if you see what I mean

I hope you are ok?

Painkillers never helped me either. Sometimes they numbed it a bit but it never fully went away! I decided to stop all my tablets and spent 5 months coming off everything. I'm now trying to focus on diet and exercise which is easier said then done sometimes! Lost a stone in three months (so hard as can't exercise a lot and all I want to eat is food that gives me energy! I'm now trying to gym twice a week and do a home workout and walk three times a week. Always feel best in the morning (guess it's before my body has chance to register all the aches and pains) so getting up earlier to workout now!! I know how you feel about work, it's so hard working full time and trying to manage this illness. I guess we all just do the best we can! You should be really proud of yourself though for being so brave and getting up in the mornings telling yourself that you can do this ♥️
