Feeling drained

Hi not having a good time lately first of all had a cold for about 2 weeks got the flu jag and really feeling ill now I've torn the ligaments in my heal a few weeks ago doctor said probably be 7 or 8 weeks to heal I'm on riveroxiban for blood clots on my lungs but am worried about my leg as gets very painful down my shin bone and leg and ankle swells every night and have a constant taste of sugar in my mouth and am totally shattered even tho can't remember the last time I had a good night sleep now just as I thought I'd had all that could go wrong took my little dog a walk and he was attacked by another dog I tried to protect him but can't remember too much about what happened as I got knocked to the ground my wee dog is ok but I ended up going to hospital and I've been told that I've torn a muscle in my neck and shoulder and have been having constant headaches since so I'm feeling totally drained just now but would be really interested if someone coul let me know anything about this constant taste of sugar in my mouth as its really horrible especially when I don't even like sugar sorry for moaning but it really is taking most of my energy to hold myself together just now

Sorry to hear about your health problems Sharon and about your wee dog. I hope he's ok. It must have shook you both up. I hope that your feeling a lot better soon.

Have you mentioned the sugar taste in your mouth to your GP? It could be a side affect of medication. It can also be a sign of diabetes, so I would definitely see your GP about it. x

My goodness you have a lot going on from top to bottom! I get a metallic taste in my mouth from certain bp meds. Is the riveroxiban a drug you never had before?
