Does anyone here use spirituality, yoga, positivity, meditation, affirmations, or a gratitude diary, anything like that?
It's been an integral part of my life for many years having suffered with addiction and walking into a twelve step group to help me stop.
I still meditate, pray and use affirmations and lately started using affirmations around health to help combat the fibromyalgia. I find that if I can get deep enough in meditation I can use affirmations to rewrite my internal dialogue & it does help. I'll keep you posted if it does help with the fibro. Anyone have any experience with this?
Also serendipitously managed to get a free 3 month gym membership from my local volunteer centre (cvs) It's some kind of scheme where they're trying to get feedback from people with disabilities to use all the city gyms around nottingham. It's called active nottingham. I'm gonna give it a go but it does frighten me. It's already painful to walk. I'm gonna use it to go to the Pilates and yoga classes and make sure I tell them about my condition.
