I have Inflammatory R A Osteoporosis in spine and hip I have hypertension high cholesterol asthma and other problems with my health I am on 14 types of medications each day I also suffer with extreme exhaustion and are in constant excruciating pain I have been under the care of a Rheumatologist for 7yrs plus after urgent referral from my Dr's when blood test came back showing very high Inflammatory markers in my blood I had always worked but when I could no longer I had a unbelievable difficulties getting any help on my first visit to Atos I was awarded Zero points on appeal I was awarded 27 points on the day of 1st appeal I could have got even more the DR asked me if I was sure I could do the. All I said, I could, its not easy for myself and many others I expect to admit how bad things are, for the last three yes I have been receiving P I P for both components at highest level but a new application is needed for it to continue after November and even with my health issue's I am dreading it!! I did have assistance from Dial to fill in the forms before but have not been able to get any help that I need so am very concerned!! I have many falls amongst which this year I fracture's my hand in 2 places I was taken into Hospital by ambulance where it was found that due to another fall I had damaged my Ribs which then had damaged my Lungs I was not in a good way there are many more times I have hurt myself but it is still very daunting for me to have to worry about my claim so for whatever your medical issues are for the people on this and other sites I know how difficult to get help it is, so good luck,P. Hi i am on 20 ĺots of medication I have copd bronocalsesettis asthma fibromyalgia rumertid arthritis and lower back pain sencertif skin nerves and I get very tired and now I have got to go for my face to face for pip I have been on the high rate of dla and middle for care so I will see what they say to me on Tuesday but I ready for them but all the best to you and take care

Make sure u tell them ur worst day I only got low rate care yet on dal got high rate they tell lots of lies don't trust pip assessor good luck

Tks for your message and thoughts I when I first became ILL I was so unprepared I had specialists I had MRI ,s, Nuclear bone scans and all types of treatment from my Consultant my Blood pressure was so high I had to see a Cardiologist but I still got zero points until the Tribunal. I am a lot more aware now But I still find it very difficult, like all who have to go through it probably are!! Anyway enough about my problems, how are U? If U was receiving D L A, at the higher Level unless U have improved surely you should get equivalent Level of P I P!!? Have U appealed! Best of Luck.

You would think if people got DLA they would be able to just move over to PIP But while the illness remains the same they have moved the goal posts sad but true xx

No lady at pip had it in for me everything she asked me when I replied she said had me in tears wouldn't listen to my hubby put mandatory in but did get it I. Far worse now than I was on dla just glad got enough points to keep car wouldn't wish pip on worst enemy lol I'm of biologics till detox then new one 10th Oct seems they only last me 2half years then don't work how's u

Ment say she said why can't you even though I'm reg visually impaired she said in report I could read chart very well I struggled 2 read 2 lines she said I could do own meds budget mix with others etc o points for these activities that's why I'm saying don't trust them nice to ur face then report comes in hope u get it good luck

Have U appealed I found the Tribunal to be better I mite just have had a decent Judge and Docter they was obviously surprised at my having to appeal due to my very obvious health problems. In fact the Doctor was telling me about what I should have done to make me be more safe eg Rails on both sides of stairs or a lift, just to say if U haven't gone to a Tribunal b/4 p/haps give it some thought, Good Luck.

They do that to all of us ignore her don't just take it from her!! See what yr Consultant says but again if U haven't done that as yet Appeal it's not that bad in fact at least I saw a Proper Docter! Believe me I was a nervous wreck but my Son took me, mind three years on I am still dreading it But gud luck and think about what I said! Stay strong.
