Hi groaten I have not taken them myself but I know a lot of members use magnesium in various ways. If you look to right of screen (If on PC) Or scroll down on phone & you will see under "Related Posts" a number of links you can go to & read about the same subject. Hopefully you will find this useful.
Also I'd like to remind you, if you lock your post to the community, you would get more answers, as some members don't like to reply on open posts. It is entirely your own choice. Here are instructions if you want to lock it.

I prefer to get magnesium through Epsom salts in bath as this is an immediate relief.
I take Magnesium Chelate from Holland and Barrett. It's helped my leg cramps only take 1 tablet at night.
Hi groaten
I have never tried it myself but the *energeticnutrition website says:
***Magnesium Malate is a compound of magnesium and malic acid, clinically shown to soothe and energize muscle cells. Malic acid is an important component of numerous enzymes key to ATP synthesis and energy production. Therefore, magnesium malate may be helpful in those suffering from fatigue due to fibromyalgia.
.
And the **PatientsLikeMe website says:
**Magnesium Malate is a highly absorbable form of magnesium that provides the benefits of this mineral, along with the benefits of malic acid, a nutrient found to contribute to the process of transforming food into ATP, the body's energy source.
.
And the ***WebMD website that belongs to the ***Boots Pharmacy says:
***Magnesium Malate is likely safe for most people when taken by mouth appropriately or when the prescription-only, injectable product is used correctly. In some people, magnesium might cause stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and other side effects. Doses less than 350 mg daily are safe for most adults.
.
I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
