Thanks!

Maybe I can start a charity for Fibro in the U.S., there is not enough acknowledgment for Fibro in the U.S.

If any on this site is in the U.S., I would really like your opinion on this.

Hi Fibrolife yes there are quite a few members in the US

f you click on your username at the top of your screen you'll get a drop down menu.

Click on the 4th option "People near me". You will then be able to find out if there is anyone in your area.

Also if you look on our mother site fmauk.org there is a list of Support Groups.

I hope that some of this helps

Love Jan xx

Sure if you are willing to manage something like that. I have decided that I am done organizing anything other than my own storeroom...

Hi Manu2015 wow that's really good of them to do that, great stuff, I didn't even think of doing that. Did you just use contact on fmauk site or was there a feature on the site to apply for one ?.

Luv Jan xx

Hello janet28

The both of us are on the same page, making more awareness about Fibromyalgia by planning a event. I am in the U.S.

Hi Manu2015

Well done for getting some business to accept collections boxes/tins.

Just a word of caution. Ensure they are chained down.

I placed a tin in a small store it got stolen. The one in our local chemist was chained but Saturday staff just gave it to someone how said they had come to get it!

The police are not interested if a charity gets robbed.

Our group now has the chemist nearest to our meeting place with flyers and tin.

They do very well . We look on raising awareness by having a tin somewhere the money collected is a bonus!
