Doctor in the house
Hi Kayshasmith1
Hope you enjoyed it and managed to watch it all xx
Hope it helped you this condition can be very debilitating. I think time is a real issue in the surgeries.
Good luck on your journey my friend
Hi my friend
I am delighted to read that you enjoyed the show. I am still in tow minds about it as he missed many tests etc that he could have undertaken? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
I know that's why I said it was good to start with, I felt sorry for the lady. He ruined it as soon as he mentioned it's in head & at end saying she no longer suffers with fibro as if it was that easy none of us would be suffering xx
I think these shows are heavily edited for TVs viewing and, while some are picking up that she thought he was saying it was all in her mind, he went to great lengths to say it wasn't what he meant at all. It gave me some pointers to think on as I want to get away from the really high doses of opiates that I've been on and I want more natural ways to deal with the ensuing pain which is proving hard. I know that while the pain relief has masked my pain it's also changed my personality to the point where even I don't know me anymore 🙃. There's a lot of medical research being done on the mind / gut connection at the moment as well so I'm hoping to find another way to fight this shitty condition 😃💖
Thanks will have a look.
Hello again
What day was the program on?
I would like to watch it!
Hi Hidden it was aired on BBC 2 on the 27th of June. They do tend to repeat the show so you may be able to catch it again or on iPlayer? Good luck my friend.
A true phenomenon!!!
Pity there is only one of him 😣😣However, when you watch to the end you will notice the focus is more on the CFS area than the pain issues, also what happened about all that medication ?? Did she stop all of it, some of it ?? My doctor seems to think it would take 2 - 3 months to come off all my meds, but the programme was only over 6 weeks.
Great to have the condition highlighted but a bit of a ' wishy washy' ending.
