I use magnesium oil and magnesium flakes. It helps in the bath, as you can relax.

Must say that the twitches I had before, have stopped now.

Hi Scotianet11 welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.

It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we all are.

A lot of our members use magnesium and swear by it so I'm sure you will get lots of useful INFO about it.

Please do go look at the mother site where you will find all the information you need and lots of useful links on Fibro and I look forward to chatting to you on the forum.

As for your question my dear I myself have not tried magnesia myself but have heard others that have tried it with good results. I believe magnesia as many homeopathy uses. Here are a few I found

Homeopathy is an alternative form of medicine that became very popular in the 19th century. In homeopathy, Magnesia phosphorica is a well-known and commonly prescribed remedy for a wide range of health problems. It is used as a sleep aid, to help relaxation, and to treat coughs and colic. It is primarily used for pain relief, however, and may be prescribed to relieve the pain associated with teething, ear infections, and menstruation, as well as muscle pains, toothaches, and headaches.

Hello Scotianet11 and a very warm welcome to our friendly fibro forum where you can find help, advice, support and understanding, along with a chuckle or two.

This community is world wide and it can be refreshing to read of other people's experiences, and the traumas they have with healthcare too. It certainly makes me glad we have the NHS, even if it is a bit creaky at times!

If you type magnesium in the search box you will see other members reponses and recommendations.

Be aware though if you are taking other meds with magnesium as some do containdicate.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forum.
