I as sad received some horrible news but this is as usual about fibro. I am sleeping almost all of the daytime and know have CFS I am up late and likely feel the best I ever do, but a little late to do anything. I have tried going 24-48 hours up so I can change my body clock it works for 3 days and stops. Does anyone else suffer like this?

Exactly the same. Using meds haven't helped. Every which way. Do you a deal (lol) if you find an answer let me know and vice versa. The screen makes my eyes worse which limits long nights' options! The Gremlins are out to get me, I swear! :) xx

I don't know if you can got old radio programs , we use to get the green hornet, the Shadow, if you can and have n iPad just listen to the programs, or you can get free audio who read a book to you, whey eyes go this is great. I save my free audios for this time. But dark glasses do help.

Peace profound

Hi Mustangmo I'm afraid this is a major problem for people with Fibro. I'm exactly the same, I either sleep for England or can't sleep for days. It a nightmare. But I've kind of adjusted over the years & resigned myself to the fact that nothing will make me sleep if my body won't allow it lol.

Breathing and relaxation excersizes are very helpful because it can be very frustrating. Hope you get some rest tonight

Luv Jan xx

I think that is a problem, you can feel so alone. Yes the group is brilliant, a wonderful bunch of people and I've learned more from the forum than I've ever learned from any medical professional. Hugs back my friend & glad you enjoy being here,

i've decided to try a period of quietning - is that a word? - slowing everything down, turn everything off, deep breathing etc. take meds. 20 minutes later get in bed, see what happens. you never know, nothing to loose by trying. more than one night! xxxxxxxxx ? zzz? :)

I am obese and should have thyroid , diabetes, bad cholesterol,

My blood work is every 2 month and perfect. A new doctor will do another test as he thinks something was wrong with dirsr.

I want to truly wish you all the best of luck with your blood works. I does seem irrelevant when all the tests come back normal but they always think that way. Please take care my friend.

I am so sorry to hear of your problem, you must be suffering from both kinds of pain, I will be here if you feel like venting and I will get back to you as soon as I wake up . So far today have styed Awake as I had things to do and same tomorrow. Our Fibromgeoup meets once a month for lunch . This means I have gone out 2'dYs in a row, so will likely be in bed for at least 3 recuperating. So you fine this the same.

Take care Hugs And peace peofound

Hi yes I suffer like this also I Can go months not being able to sleep at night then all of a sudden I sleep all day everyday and all night then I sleep all day and then awake all night .. I have tried lots of things to change this the only thing that has help is I take 1/2 of lorazepam at night and 50mg of Amitriptyline it has helped with the sleeping at night as I take both meds about an hour before I go to bed ... But I get weeks when I sleep all day as well I have so many other health issues as well so I never know which one is making me so exhausted all the time but when I'm sleeping I don't feel the pain as I don't have flare ups like people often say I have constant pain every day I never have good day they are all bad days ..
