Hi Hayley49 welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.

It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we all are.

Please do go look at the mother site where you will find all the information you need and lots of useful links on Fibro and I look forward to chatting to you on the forum.

Welcome to the forum. I am the same after I have eaten any I honestly wonder why I have bothered as I too feel queasy, two is my limit. I like wafer biscuits with the chocolate on the outside as it is only a thin layer.

hi I am gluten free and wheat free since fibro - choc, bread, yeast, wheat, sugar, gluten all make me feel ill if I have them - I have an intolerance - so I can have them in very small amounts - chocolate makes me feel sick, and sometimes I get a headache the rest give me flu and sinus symptoms (and a bad cough) great why cant I have intolerances for greens, spinach, Brussel sprouts etc., 😒

I would feel very badly done by if chocolate made me feel sick. I don't eat it very often because I'm not the sort of girl that can have one or two.and leave the rest alone so I find that it is better not to have any at all.

Hi Hayley49

I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend, and I would get this checked out with your doctor as it could be a sign of Pre Diabetes among other things. The *nakedscientist website says:

*In fact, one of the symptoms of undiagnosed diabetes is feeling sick because you can't actually control this blood sugar and you do suffer from hyperglycemia. So yes, overeating chocolate will make you feel sick, but if you feel sick all the time after eating, you should probably go and get that checked out.10 Apr 2011

I am a diabetic (on medication) and I only eat a very small amount of lactose free chocolate as I am also lactose intolerant. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Welcome to the forum, to be honest I get a really sore throat after eating chocolate. Doesn't stop me though lol. Now I think about it though hotel chocolate doesn't and dairy milk is the worst for it. Oh well.
