Sitting here waiting for the PIP assessment call and feeling so nervous.
Feeling physically sick!!!
Almost sure they’ll turn me down flat as I don’t really have any reports from doctors, etc.
Plus managed to get back to work in a part time job at Curry’s. Although I’m struggling with being constantly on my feet and also the cognitive issues with learning and retaining information and systems.
Feel so completely useless these days.
Just had a call pushing the appointment back for just over an hour as the assessor is running behind from the previous assessment!
More worry time

Just sending a gentle hug. Keep calm, a drink beside you. I have cognitive issues, so do ask them to repeat anything, or ask them to slow down. Ask for a short break of you feel too flustered.
And you are not useless- you have a job after all. Have faith in yourself. X
I hope you are feeling a bit better now that the assessment is over - don't forget that you can ask for a copy of the report to be sent to you. Sending you very best wishes x
Hope you got on ok today, I have been thinking of you. I am currently trying to complete the dreaded PIP form and access my patient information.
If you need medical reports go on to the website called Patient Knows Best, if you haven't heard of it ask your GP practice. It can be a bit frustrating to get your password to work so you may have to try 3/4 times, which my husband advised me to do and it worked.
Its fascinating reading especially if you need medical information for a Mandatory reconsideration. Hopefully you won't.
Goodluck with everything ask for copy of report if not requested recording as then you will know what has been written and compare with your answers but I know its along process hopefully you will be OK but don't give up if you have any issues as I was told be a assessment person that they have quotas of the amount of people to get pip at different times and with government looking at pip things could change again I was awarded 10yr pop and within weeks old government started talking about changing it so
