Where I live it's super sunny and hot all of the time. When I try to go outside for a little while I get nearly flu like. Does anyone else experience this?

Sick when going outside?
Could it be crops? We have quite a few rape crops around.
Everyone reacts different..I felt fantastic living in Florida..but now in U.K. .I struggle in the cold damp weather..and if it's windy I hurt for days
Hope you feel better soon
Hello some of us fibromites can be sensitive little souls and can suffer a reaction from almost anything, noise, smells, temperature differences, bright lights and more.
If you can stay in the shade as much as possible you will be doing your skin good as well as your other symptoms.
At this time of year though, have you considered hayfever? That can make you feel "off" too.

Hi Randomteen1
I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend, and although it could be Fibro related there are other conditions that could be causing this. As spider555 says, it could be due to crops as many of us are susceptible to the pollen they give off, and this time of the year is tree pollen season.
There is also a medical condition called Sun Sickness which gives flu like symptoms. The *BestHealth website says:
*The National Institutes of Health lists the following as common causes of heat emergencies:
Alcohol use
Dehydration
Heart disease
High temperatures or humidity
Medications such as beta blockers, diuretics, neuroleptics, phenothiazines, and anticholingerics
Prolonged or excessive exercise
Sweat gland problems
Wearing too much clothing
I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Fibro peeps are more sensitive to everything including temperature. Our bodies cannot regulate heat and cold as well as normal bods. I found when on holiday in Barcelona too much heat sapped all my energy, maybe this is what's happening?
Hi there ! Sorry you can't tolerate the sunny warm weather. I wonder if it's possibly from a med you're on ? Some specifically say to avoid sun exposure ? BTW....You're not alone ...🙏🏻
