You would think someone who has fibro would understand that the dreaded flares usually last at least a couple of days. Poor you hope you are feeling a bit better soon .

Must admit the damp cold weather here isn't doing my joints much good either. We had to go to a DIY place and the cold and the concrete floors have done for me I feel like crawling into bed. Take care of yourself.x

Hi Cathy

As you say, you would think that someone else who has Fibromyalgia too would be more understanding.

Something to remember about Fibro is that everyone is affected very differently.

Some people are able to live a fairly normal life, whereas others struggle just to get through each day!

Perhaps your friend has never had a flare and has mild Fibro.

It's always good to get these things off your chest though, so I hope having your rant has helped :)

Be kind to yourself

Lu xx

This is a good and safe place to rant, don't worry.

It does seem strange she keeps texting you, is she a little bit "needy"? Perhaps she is worried you might have knocked her back to do something else that did not involve her.

Perhaps she is fortunate to have never suffered a flare up and does not know how difficult it is to cope with the pain and fatigue.

Give her the benefit of the doubt and don't let it ruin your friendship.

X
