Hi I had a rough weekend with my neck and shoulder pain i took stronger painkillers. When I went to bed Sunday Night I had a bit of wind in my stomach. In no time I had it in my stomach, chest and back, I also had a bit of acid reflux I was one big pain literally. I moaned so loud its a good job my neighbours are away lol. Do anyone else have trouble with wind?

Hi Paula8790

I used to have awful acid reflux which was attributed to the number of meds I was taking on a daily basis .I would suffer with it for hours.

The doctor prescribed me some omeprazole and since taking those I dont have a problem with acid reflux.

Strangely enough my trapped wind seems to have dalmed down a bit.

i have had a small change in meds which may account for it but it seems such a coincidence that they both improved around the same time.

I am not totally free of trapped wind but a significant improvement has been noticed.

I know people laugh about wind but its no laughing matter. It can be so painful and uncomfortable .

Hope you find something soon that helps ease your symptoms.take care.

Hi Paula8790

I really am so genuinely sorry to read this and it is can be so painful and unpleasant. I was wondering if you had taken NSAID's such as ibuprofen or Naproxen etc as this can cause this problem. I tend to use something like a Windeeze tablet in conjunction with a Ranitadine to help alleviate the issue. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you
