I have never used this drug myself, I am aware that it's main uses are for issues such as sleep apnoea and narcolepsy etc. I would talk to your medical care provider prior to taking this drug to ensure it is okay for you to try it and that it will not interact with your other medications. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
I was on it for 5 years. I was prescribed it by a neurologist. I stopped taking it as the fentanyl I was on was cancelling any benefits out but I'm not sure it ever really worked much against the terrible fatigue. I recently asked to go back on it but my GP has said no, it's not licenced for fibro or ME & has to be prescribed by a consultant. A diff GP has just referred me back to rheumatologist so fingers crossed they allow me to go back on it as I'm really struggling with fatigue at the mo.
My neurologist recommend 400mg of Vitamin B2. I used to have awlful Fibro fog. After a few weeks I had much more mental and emotional energy and 30% more physical energy.
