Hello friends, It's rainy, barely cool where I live and I'm having the WORST FLARE in a couple months. Age-related arthritis joining the party...few in my close circle 'get it', so I rarely complain. Thanks for being my sounding board:))

Hello, I am so sorry you are having this flare...I totally get it as I too am going through a bad flare and also have age related arthritis.

Was refused a new knee joint last year as my consultant decided my multiple illnesses would mean that I would not get the most from a new joint.

Written off.

It is very rainy here too which doesn't cheer you up does it.

What are your worst symptoms or does it vary ?

Which part of the country are you in ?

Written off...so descriptive and very discouraging for you. Sounds like we share similar challenges. I had minor knee surgery 10 years ago. Knees are holding up okay at this point.

My worst pain occurs in large muscles of upper arms an thighs. Also, low back with radiating pain. I live in southeastearn US.
