Do any other fibro sufferers just get dull pain/aching down one side of their body or in a limb?
This past 2-3 weeks my right arm on it's own, will ache from the shoulder blade to the finger tips.I get really bad pins & needles tingling in my fingers & the top of my arm feels like i've been punched. It just flairs up out of the blue & can last hours or sometimes days. And i have noticed it's getting more freqrent. My right wist gets very painfull when it happens. I'm getting use to it happening to both arms at the same time but never one on it's own. I know it might sound silly but when my arms hurt like this, they feel almost fake sort off just hanging down. No matter what i do with them or what ever position i try to put them in nothing is comptable.

Hi PlymTeresa I'm sorry your suffering with your arms my friend, I do also get this and i get a lot of pain in the end of my little fingers, under the nail. I also have lumps In my arm where it feels like the muscles are swollen sometimes. I think a lot of people with fibro suffer with arm pain, I also suffer with Polymyagia and arm pain is also a symptom of this. I would definitely get it checked out if it's worsened and the sudden weakness and pins & needles, numbness can also be a symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. So worth mentioning to your GP.
Sorry to hear about your pain. This was similar to how I got diagnosed. Had non stop pain down one arm with numbness and tingling. It can be difficult when you get a new symptom with a flare up. The only thingot that helped mine was the TENS machine. It helped interrupt the pain.
I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend, and I have to firstly say that if it is your left arm that you should seek immediate medical attention just to be on the safe side. If it is your right arm I would make a routine doctors appointment just to have other medical conditions ruled out of the equation my friend. It may well be Fibro related but it is always best to have things checked out. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Morning Plymteresa I agree with Ken get to see doc as soon as - I get this quite often especially lying on one side it's the nerves being pinched for whatever reason but I have spondylitis so I am aware of this being part and parcel of my condition - if everything is ok at the docs then I would ask for an X-ray of your neck to rule out arthritis - if you don't already suffer from this. Arthritis is very different to Fibro. Take care 😁😁😁
