Have you read it?! I quite got into it! Apparently reading calms us down by 68%

Your heartbeat slows etc.

I haven't read this but I always read in bed and fall asleep. No light on and Kindle turns itself off :-)

I didn't know about the heartbeat thing but I've always been a big reader, maybe it's why my blood pressure has always been on the low side :-)

Thank you mysmugcat :-)

I've just come back from my Crime Book club and it was on our reading list for last year. I quite enjoyed it but at some points wanted to shake the main character. It had mixed reviews. Why they had to set the film in America I don't know but I suppose it was for commercial reasons

I am a Bookholic and in two book clubs one monthly and one weekly. They are both within an easy drive fortunately. I take an elderly friend to the weekly one but go on my own to the monthly. With the monthly we take a book away to read but the weekly one we read something together and then read a poem that has a link to the story.

I do like the feel of a paper book in my hands but when they are stiff I read one on my Kindle or Kobo app. I subscribe to Bookbub where you tick a genre, mine is crime and thrillers a d they email you every day with about five books you might be interested in either location but there are normally a couple of free books. Good way to try ande author.x

Hi

I read about two books a week, mostly crime thrillers in those wide awake hours.

I tend to buy them from the charity shops and then take them back there so I am good at recycling!

Haven't read it but I was going to watch it last night but I opted for "The OA"which so far is pretty good. My daughter watched G.O.A,T last week & said it was really good .it's deffo on my watch list ☺☺☺

I started to read it but can't concentrate like I used to be able to. It's like an old film that Alfred Hitchcock produced but it was a man rather than a woman who saw what happened - so don't know if this film/book is based on it. Take Care 😘🤗

I have fallen in love with audio books. It's so good for when I can't sleep, can't concentrate and can't hold a book. This was a great book.
