I had my 3rd acupuncture done yesterday. After waiting for time to be up the doctor noticed that where the needles where the skin had puckered up the way. He took a picture to show me and said he'd never seen this happened before. He did either side of my spine, both my hips and muscles in my bottom. By the time I got home I was really sore. Has anyone ever had that happen to them, the skin pucker up the way? Also when he took the needles out there was white spots. I have to say I woke up this morning feeling in a lot less pain and maybe the acupuncture really has helped me a lot. Wishing you all the best that you can be and in as little pain as possible.
Best wishes and hugs to you all.

I have had acupuncture years ago now but I only had one session as the muscles contracted and wouldn't let go of the needles the doctor said that was unusual and I never got it again it was really sore,
But if it's helping you good luck and all the best,
Thank you Lorraine. This was my 3rd time with my private GP and the other times where good reduced the pain. He never said that I needed to go again. So I will see how I go over the next couple of weeks. Hope that you are well. Best wishes and take care.
I hope not because the first time I felt it really helped. He never said that I needed to go back so I will see how I go over the next few weeks. I hope you're well and best wishes take good care. ๐XX
Hi Jan, I,ve had acupuncture a couple of times with good results, it could be the needles, they are made of different metals, maybe you are showing an allergy to that brand, I have to have gold needles- only the best for me!!
Yes maybe your right. I have never heard of anyone having gold needles. Does that really make a difference ? I am happy to ask him about that and possibly could be the different metals. Take good care and best wishes. Jan101 ๐XX
I have acupuncture every two weeks but that has never happened. I have had some slight bleeding and once or twice bruising. I wonder as Hidden has says whether it is an allergic reaction. Do hope as it seems not to be beneficial to you that you don't have it next time. Iknow occasionally my acupuncturist has pressed a point and then decided not to put the needle there as he has felt a great deal of heat or that the skin seems oversensitive in that particular place. Let us know how you get on next time.x
Oddly you say that because the first needle heap in at the side of my spine was really really sore and I yelped . But we continued with the rest of the process and it was sore this time. I had it done on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Maybe it was too much I'm not sure. Or as mentioned it may have been the needles and the metal. I will see how I go over the next couple of weeks and speak with him again to see if he needs to do some more. Take good care and best wishes. Jan101 ๐XX
I have had acupuncture but it only made me feel worse. I am genuinely delighted that it is helping you and I sincerely hope that this continues for you. I never had any kind of spots etc when I had mine. Good luck my friend.
Yes this is a puzzle to me I still think about it and wondered what it really was that made that happen. Especially when my Private GP said he had never seen that happen before and took a picture of it to show me . ๐ค I hope you are keeping in good health and take the care. Jan101 ๐ XX
