Hi,just a quick intro while the pills are kicking in...I'm a 39 yr old single dad with ra,fibro and a few other medical & psychological issues,on 30+tablets daily as well as the weekly butrans patch.Had ra diagnosis 4 years ago and fibro diagnosed a few months back,Life's hard but I just keep struggling through each day and popping the pills :)

I'm awaiting bio tx for the ra as the mtx and leflunomide didn't touch me,in fact made me worse.

Well anyway thanks for listening/reading.

Hi

A big welcome to the forum, I am sure you will find it a great help, there is always someone around to chat to. We are a very friendly bunch.

Fibro is horrible and it must be hard being a single parent on top.I was a single parent with 4 children but luckily didn't have fibro then.

So once again welcome.

Hello and welcome to our friendly fibro forum where you can get advice, support and help with a lighthearted moment or two to brighten the day.

Have you seen our Mother Site fmauk.org ? Here you will find information about symptoms, treatments and everything else fibro. We also have a Benefits lady, Janet who is very helpful and can be accessed via the Mother Site.

It is quite usual to have accompanying conditions with fibro, most likely autoimmune so you are in good company.

Please have a look at the right side of the screen where you will find Pinned Posts, Related Posts and Topics all in blue. These are very informative and give you a guide to getting around the forum and will detail members experiences.

Hope to see you around the forum.

Hi Leighz77, welcome to this great group. Wether you want to visit regularly or just pop in now & again you will always find a helpful fellow sufferer that even if they can't help, can listen & that sometimes helps.

I'm often here in the early hours as I've never slept well & go for days without any then zonk out.

Hope you find this group as helpful & friendly as I do
