Hello and welcome to this lovely friendly forum where you can find support, advice and information and a giggle to lighten the day.
Firstly, can I ask you to lock your post? Your post and any replies to an unlocked post can be seen by anyone who uses the internet. You will see a little padlock after the title which shows the post is locked. You will also get more replies too.
If you look to the right you will see Pinned Posts in blue, scroll down, (view more) and you will see BlueMermaid3 instructions on how to do this.
However, I can give quick instructions now.
Go back to your post and scroll down to a small inverted v, click on this and you will get Edit, click on this and the following options appear, Everyone and Only followers in my Community (Hidden Post) Click on the latter and your post will be locked.
Unfortunately you cannot see if a post is locked from the Home Page until you go in it, but these instructions will keep you safe.
Have you had a look on our mother site/ There is a wealth of information at fmauk.org which could be really helpful to you.
Hope to see you around the forum
Best Wishes.
Hello and welcome to the group, Wow your meds have not been reviewed since 1998 !! I think if I was you the first thing I would do is make an appointment to see my doctor and request they look further into your pain as it as changed for the worst. Also I would be asking why I have been kept on the same pain medication with out review since 1998 as it is very obvious it is not working. I do hope you have an understanding doctor who will help you and maybe do further testing on your pain change. Good luck and please talk with your doctor.

Hi! have you ever tried alternative treatments like acupucture, ayurveda, etc? I know it may sound silly after taking these strong meds, but I find the seeing a quiro and get acupucture and massages helps a lot with the pain.
Welcome to the forum. Sorry I would love to help but I don't reply to unlocked posts especially when for some reason the moniker is coming up as hidden.x
Hiya you definately should see your doctor asap. I'm very suprised your doc has not reviewed your medication from time to time. You have obviously built up a tolerance to it and is of no use to you anymore. Can I ask what your medical problem is?
Hi my friend
I am quite amazed that your medications have not been reviewed in such a long time and I really would make an appointment to see your GP and see what they think would be suitable for you? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
