Fibro affects everything π
Oh yeah! It's damp and cold here in new Jersey, every joint in my body seems it hurts.it takes hours for me to get moving! Hope you get a warm up!βΊ Chris
Yes, I do, but my worst times are when the weather is actually changing, particularly cold. However, once we have had a couple of days of it my body seems to adjust. It is the same if it starts raining after a dry spell, and again after a day or two my fibro settles down again. Very strange.
Definitely think that's why I'm suffering cause we've had quite mild weather last few weeks and now it's like a sudden drop in temperature and raining my body hasn't had time to adjust. The general aches I can cope with its the pain in joints especially fingers, wrists and knees
That's me to a T !
Ditto....where could we all live together in a big commune where the temperature is always just right and never changes???
Yea the weather affects me, more pain when it's cold but can't handle it if it's to hot, can't win really lol xx
I used to be a proper sun bug, always used to find an excuse to sit out in the sun but since all this with my body I found this summer difficult especially with my hands swelling up and inability to use my hands. Hopefully tho with some help and different meds I'll be able to enjoy next summer lol
It's the damp weather that gets me the most. I never used to get cold, I'd be the nutter out in shorts moving the snow! But lack of exercise from fibro pain and being diabetic have slowed my circulation down. If we ever get any warm weather in Ireland or England I'll let you know! πππ

My body thermostat is very unreliable all the time, but severe cold, or heat, makes everything worse. The mountains already have snow on the peaks which usually means a hard winter for us. Brrrr!
Short answer yes. Talking to the builder next door she was in a T shirt I had a best, thermal top, cards d thick coat on and the bits sticking out were frozen. I never used to particularly feel the cold. I am either boiling or freezing nothing in between I think my thermostat has broken.x
Hi Hidden
I have to admit it is my arthritis that gets most affected by the cold and I get all painful and stiff. I suffer with Hyperhidrosis and don't tend to feel the cold too much with my Fibro. I sincerely hope that it is not affecting you too much my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
