Hi, I have bipolar with sever depression, hypertension, low thyroid, sever stomach problems, sleep apena, diabetic, both of my knees need surgery osteoarthritis with bilateral pain in both knees, viti d magnesium sevetly low, and the worst is my body is in sever pain. And I see a Dr for all this and more. I was born at 24 weeks in 1969. Which accounts for the mental disorders. PTSD, anxiety, mood disorder. My whoie body hurts. Does anyone relate? I really have a couple of friends , I am lonely, because I don't go anywhere because of the pain. I'm stuck in a body that is sad. And the worst thing all the narcotics I have taken even morphine class, oxy class, benzoates, and codine, they just don't work on me. Its like my brain doesn't even acknowledge them. I guess I just needed to post, sorry for the pitty party. I just love you people you are so wonderful, thanks!!

I have some of that. Thyroid, vitamin d, sleep apnea, arthritis in my back, asthma etc. oddly meds work different for me also. Meds that should make me tired-don't make me tired, the ones that make people feel high- don't do that to me. Meds that alter moods don't work for me. I get minor relief from pain pills but nothing that completely removes the pain

The loneliness I get too.

I had a best friend online who lives in ny but he got a gf and now I am lucky if he shows up once a month. So I am super lonely too. One of the reasons I joined here to find some friends.

The loneliness is almost worse than the pain I think. Friends make things easier. If you ever need to talk drop me a line :)

It is fall here, the leaves change color and falling down, the color of the leaves are outstanding. Deep red, intense yellow, vibrant Orange. Its beautiful, even on the ground, its perfect weather, crisp but not to cold and very breezy. Lol

What do you think? Does the weather play a major role in pain levels?

Hi teakse

I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I can relate to a great deal of what you have written my friend. I also have arthritis in my knees, back and neck, along with damaged and compressed nerves. I have asthma and COPD along with other medical conditions. So I always have some pain to a lesser degree in my life.

I am also so sincerely sorry to read that you feel lonely and cannot get out too much. I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

I have been in a similar situation. Might still apply. I am just not given any choice regarding pain medication. With my latest disaster I might go to the local MRI scan state and private and plead with them to give me one. All these referrals are so unnecessary from the gods themselves, the GPS in lower case. I could call the media and have a documentary there like the film Cathy come home.
