I am trying to stay social with friends but after 8mins of a lunch my muscles cease up and I am bedrest.

Really miss friends at a league I was in.

Looking for ideas on how to increase my energy level as after 6years really do not know what to do

Hi

Have you tried D-ribose Suppliment?

A member posted that a dr suggested his friend who has MS try it. It's supposed to help muscles get energy. You can get it in tab form or most popular and seemingly best results are from the powder form. Can get on Amazon and a better discription of how it works.

Good luck and take care.

Off the top of your head can you remember how expensive it is? (feeling lazy I'll google it myself soon)

Thanks so much for the tip. I'm open to anything that will boost my energy levels. All Berocca did was turn my wee orange LOL

Hi -Annieko

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I have pasted for you below a link to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:

fmauk.org/

There is a medication that you could discuss with your doctor (if they feel you are suitable for this medication?) that helps fight fatigue. It is called Symmetrel Amantidine. It is usually used for patients with MS or Parkinson's Disease. It is supposed to be taken in the morning to boost your energy levels. I have pasted you a link for this below:

I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

The D-Ribose enables muscles to restore energy and it certainly helps. As someone said earlier it is easier to take in a drink, and I believe more effective. It does not change the taste of whatever you are drinking so take in tea or juice or whatever you like. As far as I can remember you can get a kilo for about £20.00, which is cheap when you are only using 100mg at a time. I get mine from Muscleform.

I hope this will help you. Gentle hugs. xx

-Annieko and mmariaaaaaaaa the site annacruachan mentions now has a small size for just under £7 which would be worth a trial I certainly am going to give it a try. Had to abandon a tiny bit if dead heading as I was going faint with fatigue.x
