Hi there-- in my area there is an online forum called "streetlife" run by the council, neighbours talk to each other about events, items for sale, help with traders like a plumber, and generally invite neighbours to nights out, meals etc, perhaps there is one near you? look on your council web sight or maybe google "Streelife" as I have stumbled on other areas when I have keyed in incorrectly!! I hope you find a group I,m sure wheelchairs or not there might be something you could get involved in.. Good Luck

Hello Candyskye.....If you go into Google (or any search engine) and type in Fibro support groups and put in your area you should be able to find something that suits you.....I wish you every success and do let us know how you get on....x

Hi Candyskye

I am sorry to hear about your partner. She has my every sympathy as I too suffer from both Fibro and ME/CFS.

If you click on your username (on the top bar of your screen, to the left next to HealthUnlocked) you will get a drop down menu.

If you click on the fourth option "People near me" you should be able to find out whether a Support Group runs in your area.

Please wish your partner all the very best of luck with her first venture out in her wheelchair.

She is lucky that she has you to look after her.

Wishing you both much peace

Lu x
