Bury Fibromyalgia Group, for support, information and get togethers for those with FM and related illnesses in Bury and surrounding areas. This is a new group my GP encouraged me to start after the diagnoses she was making made her realise there was a need for more support.
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I want to wish you all the best with your Fibro group and I hope that everybody involved benefits greatly.
I would also just like a add a quick word of caution to anybody meeting up with people off the internet that you do not know. Please put safety first! Always tell a loved one where you will be or take them with you. Never deviate from where you have told somebody you will be. Do not allow yourself to be distracted and take any unnecessary risks.
I agree wholeheartedly about personal safety. The meetings will be held at my home initially, as I know it will take a while for people to find me.I am sending out fliers to local GP's asking them to inform people with FM of the group. I have had this for 6 horrible years, and I know how isolating this illness is.
