Hot
Hi wendypartridge , nice to meet you!
Yes, I usually hot even when it's chilly. It's certainly my hormones/age (hahahahaha)
You should have a word with your GP if indoubt, as they know your history!
Better to be safe that suffer! which will only cause more stress and pain.
I wish you well.
Soft hugs,
Elizabeth xx
My doctor just nods his head but does nothing so i thought i would ask here , lol lol
Can you be seen by another GP?
It could be a number of things really!
Side effects of medication?
Hormones (do you have a thyroid problem)
Menopause?
Underlying illness?
Your GP needs to listen to you. Your body is telling you there's something not quite right here.
It's your precious body so pls don't be fogged off by GP's that you feel has no interest in your medical care!
The very best of luck xx
Yes I feel hot all the time, have a fan on all night, I think mines a side affect of morphine but does drive me mad, take care😀
Hi there
Many of us with Fibro are unable to control our body temperature.
Unfortunately mine is stuck on cold!
I am cold all of the time. Even in summer my feet are constantly cold.
Others are stuck on hot.
It is very tempting to just put symptoms down to Fibro or side effects of medication.
However, the most important thing to remember is that if you have a persistent new symptom you should get it checked out with your GP.
Wishing you less pain and more peace

It seems to arrive with every flare up of fibro, I tell my Gp who looks like (awww there there off you pop ) xx
If you don't have a supportive GP, is it possible for you to see someone else at your surgery?
With Fibro and all its added issues, we need a doctor who is going to listen to us and take us seriously.
Condescending doctors are not helpful and important symptoms could be missed.
Are you taking any medication for your Fibro?

co codomole 30/500 and amitrip 10mg , he wants me to try gabapenten this week
Hi wendypartridge , Welcome!! I'm always hot even if it's freezing out, I'm hot.Take care. Peck.🐤
Hi wendypartridge
I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend, and as the others have said if your GP is not helping you then please find another that will. You are a unique and wonderful person who deserves the care of a good doctor.
I feel hot just about all of the time but I have the sweats to go wit it. It is called ''Hyperhidrosis.''
I have pasted you the link to the NHS Choices cache on this issue below:

I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
I was only thinking yesterday how I am always hot even in winter since I became ill. I sleep with a sheet over me and the duvet just covering my lower legs and feet which often go freezing cold. Very bizarre this temperature thing. I am over the menopause but it is rather like that flushing feeling. Got no joy with doctors. Blood test was fine.
I've suffered from hyperhidrosis (hot + sweating) for the past 49 years. It seems to be quite common in those with fibro, as is IBS (irritable bowel) but in my case the hyperhidrosis and the IBS came about 15 years before all the other fibro symptoms. Not sure, therefore, whether the hyperhidrosis and the IBS are actually part of the fibro, or whether there's something about the fact I suffer from them that makes me susceptible to fibro as well. The great fibro mystery!
