Hi there

I have had Fibro for 30 years and have been on the forum for 4 years.

I have never heard of any medication for fatigue. If there was one, I would definitely be asking for it!

It may be that you can try some vitamins or supplements but none work for me.

The only answer that I know to the awful fatigue is to pace yourself.

Wishing you less pain and more peace

at your next g.p or consultant appt discuss having your vit levels checked for things like B12 B6 and magnesium, IF they are under performing then either doc should want to help with this.

Hi

Have you tried the d-ribose supplement?

You can get it on line easily.

Although the tabs didn't work for me a couple of people said that the powder worked for them.

Good luck 😊

Could you tell me what this d-ribose suppl is please?

Hi, it's a little complies to explain simple. As far as I can see it's a thing that helps muscles get energy.

Apparently a dr advised a patient of his with MS to try it, so a member on this site said in a post. Forgotten who it was though.

It's on google and Amazon, in powder and tabs.

Hope that helps a bit? 👍😊

Hi kaydem30

I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend, and there are medications available for fatigue if your GP is willing to prescribe or thinks that you are suitable for them? One that comes to mind is amantadine HCl oral / Symmetrel which is a Parkinson's drug and used to treat fatigue in MS. So it may be worth discussing this with your doctor?

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
