If pip is rejected how long do you have to wait re-apply for PIP?

PIP another question
Six months
Surely you can just do an appeal immediately, rather than wait 6 months to re-apply? All the information should be with the rejection letter, or go online.
Edit: just read your earlier post. I'm sure they have to arrange your appeal within a fairly quick timescale. I would speak to your local welfare rights organisation. They helped me appeal when my esa was rejected and I then won.
Hi again Milder
If you do not get an award you have one month to ask for a mandatory reconsideration. I have pasted you some links below that help explain about it:
*Excerpt from CAB:
*If you disagree with the decision that’s been made about your PIP claim you can challenge it. You should challenge it within 1 month of the decision.
You can challenge the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) decision about PIP if:
you didn’t get it
you got a lower rate than you expected
you think your award isn’t long enough

Hi Ken, I have had the reconsideration which has also been rejected
If the Mandatory Consideration has been refused you will need to go to Appeal. They will only consider your conditions from the date you applied, so if things have changed even a little, as soon as the six months have elapsed from the date of your first claim, stick in another. It doesn't stop the Appeal, and if you win at appeal, that is fine, but if you lose, you already have another claim in. You need to be persistent with DWP. Don't give them an inch; They don't give us one!
