Hi all

I got my pip decision and was awarded the standard rate of mobility I already had the care component. It's a start but will appeal for the higher rate.

Please get advice you could lose both awards but hope you don't

I agree with Hidden . It would be a really good idea to take some advice before you appeal, as I believe that you could end up losing what you have already been awarded.

So pleased that you have managed to get the standard rate of mobility to add to your care component. Like the others I would take advice on how to proceed as we have seen forum members actually have their awards downgraded rather than upgraded as a completely differenent person looks at reconsiderations and could view your application in a totally different light. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.x

It I have heard of it happening but I'm thinking that as I also have psoriatic arthritis sjorgrens syndrome and myasthenia gravis that it would be hard for them to do that? X

Totally agree my last job share partner has myasthenia gravis and it is a horrible illness to have. I know her last flare of it knocked her for six. Good luck.x

Have any of you heard of work and pension site? If you become a member they have lots of guided to download which are really helpful. I'm not the best with these things nut my friends is going to help. There are the guides that dwp uses and they have it down where I use AIDS but didn't give points when they should. For the mobility I need 2 points for the enhanced rate and 3 for mobility. I thought what I got was a mandatory reconsideration but was just looked at again. So going to do a mandatory reconsideration. I'm not sure I'd do it alone tho x

I have applied against mine and they got its been well over a month they had it I am scared now hope I will be able to keep mine good luck I will let you know x
