To me swimming and tennis are very intense exercising!! Good luck with your CPK levels.Peck🐤
I would think that your GP will want to discuss the result with you. It all depends on why the blood test was done in the first place. Any abnormal results need to be investigated medically. I wouldn't worry about it until you know more about it.
Did you get an appointment with your result? If not then you should make one. 🐸
hey! i did a blood test only for check up! i don t have any symptoms! i asked my doctor he told me from workout! he told me to stop work outs for a wile then get it tested again! what can i do more?
Hi mabi55
I do not perosnally believe it is anything to worry about at all as I have pasted you an excerpt below from the *''Living with kennedy's disease'' website:
*CPK or (CK) is Creatine Phosphokinase (a muscle enzyme). An elevated CPK count is quite normal for those of us with Kennedy's Disease. The higher number reflects muscle damage (or wasting). Those of us with Kennedy’s Disease can have CPK counts into the thousands.
Your count is far too low to have anything like this so please just take your doctors advice and then have another blood test my friend. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
I too have high CPK levels, 350+. I take a statin, Zocor 20 mg. My Doc took me off for 90 days and my CPK dropped in half.
