First of all welcome to the site. Good crowd of folk here who are very knowledgeable Secondly I am sorry you have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but at least you know what has caused you so much pain. I hope you get on the right meds as soon as you can. This can take a while but stick with it. Take care, sending hugs x

Hello Phyllis

Welcome to the forum :) You have found a wonderful place full of support, advice help and tips on how to cope with Fibromyalgia.

If you have a look at our mother site you will find lots of info on Fibro too:

fmauk.org

Many of us have waited years for a formal diagnosis. Although it is a really horrible condition to live with, it is good to finally have a name for all that pain.

For internet safety reasons it is a really good idea if you get into the habit of locking your posts. Unlocked posts can be read by just about anyone world wide, whereas locked posts stay within our community. You can tell if a post is locked by looking at the end of the title to a post. If there is a little black padlock there, then that post and all the replies are locked.

I have given you a link on how to lock posts. However, if you need any help, just give me a shout and I will be happy to help you:

healthunlocked.com/fibromya...

I look forward to chatting with you again.

Wishing you less pain and more peace

Lu x

I'm sorry to hear that, but like you say it's a relief to know what you've got.

I'm sure that you will find joining this site will be a great help and support to you. I have. Everyone is so nice and we all understand how you feel and nobody judges you. You can ask questions, have a laugh, get useful hints and info or have a moan and get some support.

Take care and best wishes.
