Head splitting fun

I Recently had a blackout on the loo of all places, and cut a gash between my eyebrow and eye It bled quite badly at the time, started to heal but a small lump stayed underneath, the scab has gone and the lump is smaller, but I keep having terrible headaches ever since should I go back to the doctor about this?

We aren't medically qualified I'm afraid. So it will be your choice.

You are the one person who knows if this is a new thing since your 'loo scapes'. If it is connected then it's always a good thing to get knocks on the head checked out, even if you give 111 a call. They will be able to advise you. But if you don't think it's connected then wait, and mention it to your Dr next time you see him 🐸

I did exactly the same (spookily so, in fact ) and also lost balance and fell onto the corner of the kitchen wooden table. I cut myself between the eyebrows also, and after the bleeding stopped, it came up in a huge lump, along with a "two black eyes and a bruised nose" sort of injury and my head was pounding like a migraine for nearly 2 weeks.

I have to say though it all stopped and went back to normal, apart from the now permanent small lump and a tiny scar!

I hope this helps!

Wishing you a speedy recovery and best wishes. Esined xx 🌸

Thanks, I think I might need to get back to the doctors then as this is about a month now and no let up,☹️ the eye on the side of the cut has not got fully clear either 🙏 Many thanks, and maybe the little lump will be staying then if you still have one🤕

Thanks for responding ,yes I think I will be going back to them next week for sure just to be safe 🤕

Yes in my opinion you should, just to make sure. Head wounds always bleed a lot, but it's the headaches that are a bit worrying, you might have had concussion.

I'm sorry to hear this news. Did they say why you're blacking out?

I do hope that you get this sorted out and begin to feel better soon.

Take care and best wishes.

No explanation to the blackout, apparently the hospital said that this happens more often on the loo than people realise🤕

Hi melseragon

I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I would definitely go back and discuss it with them. The rule of thumb is usually that if a pain is sometime new or something persistent then get it checked out just to have other medical conditions ruled out do the equation. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
