Hi everyone. Hope your day is going well. Can anyone help me out there. I was sitting quietly out in the garden reading my book when I was overcome with pain in my back stretching out to my legs, with them becoming restless, and then the pain shot right back up to my shoulders and neck. By then I am also feeling in a complete fog and in such pain I resorted to a small dose of morphine. Still feel unwell and as if I am not on this planet. Has anyone else had similar. Just wanted to cry......

BAD DAY
it doesn't hurt to cry hun, it is good to cry because it releases your feelings, it is worse to keep things bottled up , morphine will make you feel like you are not on this planet as it works on your brain receptors to dampening things down, I am allergic to actual morphine I come up in huge big blisters like I have been in a fire
I too have had pains like that. Although I would see your dr if it continues, as might not be the same as mine. Good luck.
Thank you for your response. I see my Doc soon so I may run it past her.
Big hugs x
Sounds horrible, and a bit scary! No wonder you're asking. I myself haven't had that. The meds will knock you sideways but you'll know that. It may be a one off. If it happens again then maybe speak to your Dr. Hope you get your normal self back soon 🐸
Yes unfortunately it sometimes strikes like that, one moment fine the next moment in agony . I have actually found that it tends to happen to me after I have had what I feel is a particularly good day. It is as though it lulls you in not a false sense of security. Hope you will be feeling better soon and also more as if you are in this planet that planet Zog.x
Hope your feeling better.Cry if you need to I myself find it a release.Be blessed. Peck.🐤
Hi Cattistock, that's awful but does happen like that sometimes and it is normally for me when I'm sitting resting. As Rosewine said, it lulls you....
As soon as I layed down for a rest I got back pain, burning legs, aching, cramping toes and a headache. It's like it waited for me to lay down & it came from no where.
I hope you feel better soon & deffo check out if happens again though ☺
Luv Jan x
Hi cattistock2013
I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend and I sincerely hope that you are feeling better now? I do get similar fast acting shooting pain but not as body wide as yours. If your symptoms persist or get any worse I would talk to your GP about this just to get other medical conditions ruled out of the equation. Please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Thanks for your reply, and I will act on my problem if it happens again.
Thanks again and I hope your day is peaceful on all fronts. x
