Morning all, it,s a beautiful morning here in Bristol (so far) and the garden is looking good. I was lucky enough to get one of the ceramic remembrance Poppy's from the Windsor display,in memory of my grandad who was lost in WW1 , and it,s now in pride of place in my garden. Looks lovely I think.

Yes they are so beautiful I think it was the most moving T tribute to those that lost their lives. I am so glad you were able to get one.x

WOW! I am so genuinely delighted to read this my friend. You are the only person I have come across so far that has managed to get one? I do know a lot of people that wanted them but I think they were over subscribed? I do not know how they managed to select who got one? I love the photo as well, and the poppy has great meaning for you. Please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

I ordered it as soon as I saw the advertisement ken. I must say the packaging and box it arrived in was also lovely.

Hope you have a great weekend. With lots of sunshine?😎X

I think it is truly lovely. I adore gardening. I also just want to say how thankful I am for your Grandfather's sacrifice. I don't know anything about Windsor and the ceramic puppy's. Do you mind me asking?

The ceramic poppies were on display at Windsor last year, for the 100th anniversary, and there was a poppy for every man killed in the war. I ordered mine straight away and was lucky to get it. I will try to post a pucture for you.
