Dawn, So sorry to hear this as I have them and along with depression they have disabled me.I take xanax for them but you have to get that from your gp. Is it only due to your ESA review or do you always have them?? I wish you the very best...try not to think about it as best you can.Jll be around should you need someone ok?? Take care. Peck 🌹 🌹
When I get anxious I tell myself "come on - keep calm - deep breaths - I can do this!"
- you can do it - they are only people - by Thursday evening it will all be over and done with - we are with you ( in spirit anyway )- - write down what you want to say also helps - good luck - Neese. 😊
It will be fine Dawn, don't stress because it will make you unwell. I have just come to the conclusion if you say how it is, why would they say you were fit for work and as long as you have given them enough evidence of your disability it should be ok.
If you don't get result you think you should have, you must then appeal and if all goes well, you will get it so try to keep calm ☺☺☺
The very best of luck

Hi dawnlancaster
I am so gneuinely sorry to read that you are struggling with panic attacks, and I sincerely hope that you can find some relief from them. I have pasted you an excerpt and link for the *NHS Choices cache on coping with panic attacks:
*Breathing exercise for panic attacks
If you’re breathing quickly during a panic attack, doing a breathing exercise can ease your other symptoms. Try this:
Breathe in as slowly, deeply and gently as you can, through your nose.
Breathe out slowly, deeply and gently through your mouth.
Some people find it helpful to count steadily from one to five on each in-breath and each out-breath.
Close your eyes and focus on your breathing.
You should start to feel better in a few minutes. You may feel tired afterwards.
I have also pasted you a link for the CAB - Citizens Advice Bureau cache on preparing for an ESA review:

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi dawn, sorry you are feeling anxious. I to have anxiety attacks I've had them for several years now, everyone has given you some really good advice about breathing techniques. Through seeing a psychotherapist she suggested I carry with me something that calms me down and grounds me (makes me control the panic and brings me back) , I didn't see how this would work to begin with but it really did for me.
I discussed this with my family (husband 2 grown up sons and my daughter who at the time was just 12 yrs old) we tried to think of lots of things I could have with me in my bag always. My daughter asked her dad to take her shopping and she presented me with a little velvet drawstring bag, containing five stones, each one was the birthstone of all five of us. She said where ever I was I would always have them all with me. I can't tell you how many times in the early days that I sat twiddling this bag of stones but it really worked for me, took time for me to be able to stop the attack altogether but I was able to control them better. I still carry them everywhere I go and luckily dont need to get them out often but I know that they are there.
I have got my PIP assessment next Thursday (first time I have claimed) so my stones (family) will come with me along with my husband. And yes I'm scared and anxious to dawn. Hopefully we will both get the result we deserve, maybe we can let each other know how we get on.I will be thinking of you take care. Linda
I all so have mind too,it's makeing me I'll.
