Doc appointment

Been trying get to get a doctor appointment since Friday and  no doctors are turning  up at my surgery ,been feeling ill with the  flu, and swollen ankles and shin, and a boil on my bum haha ,just got over the shingles I think anyway, what's going on with these doctors very frustrating,awawaw

Doctors are people too and I'm surprised they don't get ill more often, given who they are hands on with every day. Maybe there is a bug going round? I would have thought they'd have tried to get a locum in if that was the problem, but there is a national shortage of GPs.

I know it's getting worse, they just rang me with an appointment for this afternoon ,there must be a lot of people with the same  problem worse off than me ,so I'm lucky.

Our surgery has 2 GP vacancies so appointments are getting more difficult to get 🐸

Thank you. Just got back from docs got a referral to pain clinic.,antibiotics for my chest infection he said my immune system is very low that's why I feel so bad on top of the fibro..

I am so genuinely sorry that you have a chest infection and that your immune system is so low. I also genuinely hope that you do not have to wait too long for an appointment at the pain clinic.
