I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I would see your GP just to get other medical conditions ruled out of the equation. Please do not assume that every ailment is Fibro related. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.

Hi tinatroy, My name is Ann and its my first post on here. I read your post and had to reply. I have fibro and so does my daughter. She had all the symtoms you just had a couple of days ago. She was hot but felt cold, was  sleepy and had an upset tummy. Also kept bursting into tears. We finally twigged she had a flare. She is better today but is very weak. Hope this helps, if it does carry on for more than 2/3 days then consider going to docs. Hope you feel better soon. I am lucky as me and my daughter can help each other and know what each other feels fibro wise. Take care.  Ann x

Hi Ann......I too have been feeling exceptionally hot...but not cold at the same time..and was gong to post about it here to see f anyone else felt like this at times...I have seen that I am like this before and during a flare..I drink lots of water with ice in it...crazy as I don't like cold drinks as a rule...its not a hot flush..and I exhude heast..which surprises everyone as I am usually average n the heat stakes...hope your daughter recovers soon ..'.warm '..lol...wishes x(better to lkeep sense of humour..bet you girls have some great times despite Fbro...:-).) x

Hi sab123blossom. Its a funny one this hot and cold. My daughter is on the mend! Thank you. I must admit we do have a laugh at times we can compare notes etc. I am so lucky to have someone who understands. We also cheer each other up. We joke 'fibro pain'. My daughter was diagnosed years ago with fibro and hypermobility syndtome. I was diagnosed last October having been treated for osteo-arthritis for years so have both. Its funny wait long enough and someone will come up with the answer lol. What a great site! Take care  Ann  xx

Hi I get the same symptoms  with my fibromyalgia- it usually only lasts a couple of days its usually if I have been stressed - hope this helps ☺

Hi Tina, I have been having hot seats for years, had lots & lots of tests only to be told everything was ok. So I am thinking it is the Fibro, but I'm taking 6 Catapres 100mcg which help a bit some day's. I never feel cold not indoors ever. Hope you sort it out soon. Take care

Yes I can have burning skin but be freezing cold awful feeling.  One could can't get warm however high the heating until I get into bed.  No temperature control either boiling or freezing nothing in between.  You have my sympathy. X
