Where's the tree
*ducks*
that looks like a nice landscape behind it
there's no such thing as seeing the green on my tree , and couldn't put all decks on this year . Absolutely shattered Abbi did most not particularly tasteful but we love it π
Trust you!
Wow. I still need some one up in the loft for mine. I will have to get the hole in the ceiling made bigger so that my son will fit.
Oh and i havnt tried it yet but lovely daughter thinks that she has fixed the problem with my computer and i can start taking pictures again.
So pleased about your computer . My son put all my decks down in shed by back door so easier for me last time he was home ππ
The only shed that we have is Alans work shop. Where he does a bit of wood carving. He is making a new spare bed for G daughters use. Hers is well past it.
He and g son have now got into making drinking glasses from wine bottles.
I wouldnt dare to even suggest to him that some thing was stored in there.
Oh well my son thought ahead this year , and good job he did , so exhausted from this afternoon , going to check in later. Got loads of messages to answer from forum am going to have to look later xx
Suggest a bigger shed when you go fishing it's the bait you use apparently that's important
It doesnt work. The more space you give him the more stuff he suddenly decides must be kept.
Besides his `shed` is two double garages joined together.
According to the ancient philosopher Aristotle, βNature abhors a vacuum.β Aristotle based his conclusion on the observation that nature requires every space to be filled with something, even if that something is colorless, odorless air (or junk in a shed)
Downsizing such as a house move defines what must be kept and what is merely hoarded because you can.
Oh please dont wish that on me.Just the thought of having to go through this house sorting brings on a panic attack.
We do the same with limited energy, choosing carefully what we try and keep when normally keeping everything and looking for more was the prefered model. Life is already downsized by necessity and losses grieved the a sign of strength in adversity not panic under fire.
My hubby is the same the bigger the shed the more stuff he gathers
We have got rid of quite a bit of it this year.
We needed the space for the camping equipment.
I once had the large cupboard at the top of the stairs for my art and craft stuff and then got fed up with tripping over fishing tackle.
So i emptied the cupboard and threw a lot of it away and gave it to him to keep it in.
that was some time ago. The cupboard is full, there is now a fishing box in front of it.
Fishing boxes on top of the wardrobe. another At the side of his chest of drawers and rods stood in front of his wardrobe. He put them in front of mine to start with, That just wasnt going to happen.
My art and craft stuff is pushed into where ever i can find a space.
That sounds about right. When we moved house last year it took longer to move hubby's sheds than it did the house. He has so many car parts it took 5 of us 4 days to clear his 3 sheds and a garage When we finally get our new house he can have a room for his junk and his garage any overspill will be thrown out I have only just found my sewing machine
I have 3 sewing machines and 2 overlockers
Can't tell you how many pairs of scissors I have π
Looks great, haven't done mine yet, we will tackle it at the weekend xx
Hi, I say if it's got a branch then it must have a bauble the more the better, a bit of tack and a bit of good stuff I love them all. I feel robbed this year with the tree I've got, I tried for a real one but I got no where, I'm glad now so that I've not got so much to put away this year though. x
Beautiful my lovely lady!!
Yeah!! Still got to do mine, not looking forward to it. Never mind, best foot forward and all that.
WOW! That looks amazing my friend x
Lovely Chris
I put two trees up, one in the main sitting room and one in my dining room. I have decorations at the back of one of the trees that I wouldn't like my grandchildren to read so won't be having them up much longer. They were given to me by my humbug colleague. One reads "Ho, b****y Ho", another "Happy *b****y Christmas" and the last one is black and says "bah humbug"
I have never found putting my trees up as tiring as I have this year! then I realised I had help the previous few years. Makes a difference
I hope your green ones bring you the luck of the Irish......don't know if that is good or bad luck I am wishing you
I collect tree decks and friends went to Ireland last year in the summer and brought them back for me a ste of 4 green glass with lucky Irish quotes on them πππ

I wish I had been, coughing again! So is hubby so betwwhen us we are a noisy pair, tried the spare room but the mattress in there is too hard for me (never use to be) so I gave up
