Where the f... did that come from...who invented fibromyalgia....
Was it the result of industrializing everything......water mixed with chlorine & fluoride...Pasteurizing milk which promotes all the wrong biochemical reactions in the body...Wheat genetically changed 50 odd yrs ago to shorter stubby more glutenous and added protein gliadin which we can't digest...all the prescription drugs that we have been told to take which just make you more ill...cholesterol myth which removed all the vital natural fats in our bodies....etc...etc....etc....

I would look into what your body PH level is.......because lots of different diseases can spawn if you are acidic and not alkaline...you can buy little strips that you pop into your mouth..cheaply i think...check online where to buy...
Also buy goats milk kefir grains & ferment with goats milk which will line your digestive track with 40 odd different types of good bacteria or you can ferment vegetables more cheaply...this will help you fight any autoimmune disease....
Previously called Fibrositis this item from 1940 predates the modern suggestions for cause ard.bmj.com/content/2/2/101... and it's a long way short of holding the title of earliest recordd history of this illness.
Symptoms like fibromyalgia have been described long ago, before all the modern day techniques and medicines.
It is believed that Cleopatra exhibited similar symptoms and also Florence Nightingale (her caring nature is certainly a characteristic of many sufferers).
Unfortunately we are the "unlucky ones" who have to learn to live with it!!
Yes, I'd heard Florence Nightingale had it. Many on HU had it in childhood and lived with the changes which have ensued since ie fluoride, chlorine and other chemicals added to water etc. pasteurization and homogenization of milk (I only began having treated milk 8 years ago), don't see that that has had an effect.
Yes, we live with it, sometimes better than others.
Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I have pasted you a link to our mother site, Fibromyalgia Action UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:
