Hi Blue52

I am so genuinely sorry to read of how you have been let down in this way, and I sincerely hope that you are not suffering and struggling too badly. Many pharmacies will let you have an emergency supply of your medication and take it from your prescription as and when it comes in, would they not do this for you?

Please take care of yourself and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Most pharmacies will dispense an emergency supply for repeat medication especially for regular customers. We do quite a number. However if it is for controlled drugs (something that still can't be sent electronically) then it is illegal to dispense without a valid paper prescription. (even if you have a paper script and the doc has forgotten to sign it it can't be dispesed!)

Bearing in mind that many fibro victims are on these particular drugs then it would be impossible to give an emergency supply.

Hi Mark

Thank you so much for that information, it is very useful to know. I am on a few very strong medications but luckily I have never been in this position (touch wood).

Thanks again

Hi Ken , yes my Pharmasist is great , she knows me and helps when this happens, it's not the 1st time. She has called the doctor her self regarding no script. Hopefully one on Monday, but have some pain killers now to last till then .

Hello Blue,,,, those new electric scripts...the writer needs to press either the spacebar or the send button, for them to go,,,and also it helps if the correct email address/or such,,,,many things can go wrong with the new system, ,,,,so it could be in the works, ,,

floating in the ether so to speak,,,,,,

Have you considered asking you gp for a top script of the things that run out fast,,,I have just done this,,,,handy to have in,,,,,

Hope you got the wanted pain killers and your pain is responding,,ttfn from Karen.

Hi Karen I think it must of been floating around, as it was in the pharmacy this Morning, so got them now, I don't keep them on repeat script as yet, as I have only recently started them, and my stomache is a woos lol when it comes to Meds so we are seeing how I go on them. Thanks for your help
