First time on the bus for about a month. Was out for about three hours during which time we had lunch and the bus journey is about 40 mins each way. I had to get my wheat bag and take Tramadol as soon as I got home and went to bed as I was in agony. Worrying as I think my mobility is getting worse.

Hi Crackers1
I am so genuinely sorry to read that you feel that your mobility is getting worse, and I would keep your GP or Medical Specialist up to date with this as there may be something that they can do to help and assist you? When my mobility first started to deteriorate my GP sent me to physiotherapy to do simple, gentle exercises whereby I would stretch my legs or turn my knees and it was quite effective.
You could also ask your local council for a ''Occupational Health Assessment'' whereby they would visit you to see if there is anything that they can do to help you? Such as grab rails in your bathroom or a ramp where you may have outside steps etc. It is always worth inquiring?
Despite this, I genuinely and sincerely hope that you had a wonderful day out, and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
A 40 minute each way trek is lengthy enough for a first time outing. I hope you managed to enjoy the bits in between the bus journey
Ken has very good advice there and I can't really add to it
Honestly I think you did brilliantly just a short journey on a bus because of the seats and the constant stop start does for me so if you think 1 hour 20 minutes that is alot of short journeys all together. Perhaps next time if unfortunately there is such a big gap between outings I would do a more limited outing. I know when I go out with my friend to our book club and shopping I am absolutely hopeless th day after and unfortunately have to accept that is the price I am going to pay. Do hope you are starting to recover.x
Well done in going out 😊 mobility is very Worring and I empathise with you there. I can't seem to do to much these day's either. Hugs x
Crackers I hear you and I know mine is too , I think part of it is that we don't go out enough and I know it's tricky because we don't feel well or we haven't slept . I have been going to physio and the pain is worse , had no sleep at all last night had awful restless legs and they started at the back then all down legs . I was so tired I kept thinking it would go but it didn't eventually got to bed 6-30am took a while to go to sleep and back up again at 9-am hopefully to sleep tonight . But good for you on getting out , I find it helpful to take pain killers before I go out . All the best x
Thanks all for caring. Hope you are all having a reasonable day
