it was very pleasant to meet old friends for a lunch party, We hads crackers nice food and came away with a bottle of spirits!
The only thing that was wrong was the chairs........they were awful........never had to consider what I sat on but by the time I left my back from top to bottom was screaming and not carols!
I am going again next Friday to the same place for a night out I think I will have to take a cushion with me to go up my back. Still if I look a wally I will just have to look a wally! At this party I was the youngest and the most decrepid oh phoo.
Oh by the way I have discovered why my typing goes so bonkkers it is the strength in my fingers and the pins and needled I think I have typed a full word but I am not hitting the keys enough to make them work. so sorry if I write gobbledy gook!

Pleased you enjoyed yourself apart from the chair, I know what you mean I always have to have a cushion behind my back if sitting on a hard chair, when I go out I try to get a chair with a padded back. Hope you're more comfortable next time you go. Gentle Hug

Hello Gins I understand what you are saying about the chairs we go out for lunch most sunday the same place every time food is so good ( thats why we go same place ) but some of the chairs are so hard enjoy friday take care love beth x
Chairs can be a nightmare can't they! Hubby and I went out on Saturday, popped into Burger King for a quick snack but oh my goodness their chairs! Bolt upright and wooden, my derriere at the end of it was numb and my back how it ached.
Can you imagine taking a cushion into Burger King lol! Comfort is the most important thing for us though isn't it and something like a hard chair can really set us back.
Have you considered strapping a cushion to your derriere next time you go Gins, it would be a talking point too! (said tongue in cheek my dear as I do appreciate the problems we face with hard chairs)
(I am sure VG will have something to say about the image of Gins walking into a lunch party with a cushion firmly attached to her backside)
